March Meeting
Hello Ladies!
This year seems to be moving right along, huh? It doesn't seem possible that we are almost into March, but spring is finally approaching!
I just wanted to let all of you know that we will be having our March meeting on Tuesday the 10th, at 6:30 in the cafeteria. We will be having a little welcoming shower for Gretchen, Michelle's new foster daughter as well. A list of needs will be posted in the foyer. Please bring a snack to share as usual. The agenda for the evening will also include planning a missions trip, a mother daughter day this spring, and our April meeting. So please do not miss this meeting. It will be a lot of fun!

Women's Winter Retreat
We will be having our annual Winter Retreat Friday-Saturday, January 30th-31st at the Bradford Inn in Branson. We will be leaving the church at 6:30 pm on Friday. The cost is $10 if you plan on staying overnight, and $5 if you want to join us for Friday evening only. Shopping on Saturday is optional; we usually take the church van and carpool to all the shopping outlets and do lunch that afternoon. So if you would like to stay overnight and shop the next day, please bring money for your shopping and lunch. Breakfast will be provided. Please bring a snack to share Friday evening. Also, we do play some board games, so if you have one that you would like to play, please bring it! There will be a devotional, testimonies, and great fellowship with other ladies.
The sign up sheet is in the foyer. There are three columns which you can choose to sign up under: if you are just coming for Friday evening, staying overnight and going home in the morning, or if you are staying overnight and going shopping. Please sign up soon so I can get a head count for the weekend.

Christmas Party 2008
Our annual Women's Christmas party this year was held at Rhoda Hastings' home. We had our usual-snacks, visiting, gift exchange game, and secret sisters revealed for those who participated. It was a great turnout!

Pastor Michelle's Birthday Dinner
This past May, we had a special birthday dinner at Cheddar's for our children's pastor, Michelle. It was extra special, because she was celebrating her 30th! We had so much fun visiting and appreciating one of our pastors on her birthday.

Winter Retreat
Our annual Women's Winter Retreat was held in February of 2008 at the Bradford Inn. The special speaker was my Aunt Brenda. She gave an encouraging testimony to all the ladies about how God healed her from cancer, and how she has got through it. It was amazing! We also had a devotion, food, and games. It is an overnight event, but some ladies carpool and go home together that evening. In the morning we have breakfast, and those who want to go shopping all day in Branson at the outlet malls.
